Introduction to the Tourism Growth Program with FedDev Ontario

On January 17, 2024, the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) hosted a virtual program information session with the Ontario Museum Association on the Tourism Growth Program, with FedDev experts Jordan Grensewich and Alison Barclay presenting on eligibility and how the funding and application process works.

The Tourism Growth Program (TGP) is delivered by Canada’s regional development agencies (RDAs) with a total budget of $108 million over 3 years. The Program is intended to support Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities, small-and medium-sized businesses and not-for-profit organizations in developing local tourism products and experiences. FedDev Ontario will work in collaboration with provincial and territorial governments and tourism partners to ensure the program is complementary to other supports for the tourism industry, helps to diversify regional economies and contributes to Canada’s economic growth.
