This webinar from April 29, 2022 is part of the Small Bytes Webinar Series.
With the vastly expanding world of technology, museums must be intentional in how they interact in the digital realm. As much as museums would like to do it all, it’s just not practical (or possible!). A strong digital strategy can help guide museums and help them prioritize their efforts and use their limited time and resources on initiatives that serve them and their communities best.
In this webinar, digital media expert Corey Timpson introduce participants to digital strategy – what it is, why you need one, and how to use it. Corey is joined by Mary-Katherine Whelan, Curator at the Amherstburg Freedom Museum, to help us think about the practical aspects of digital strategy for small museums.
This webinar is part of the Small Bytes initiative. Small Bytes: Supporting Digitization in Ontario’s Smaller and Rural Museums is an initiative of the Ontario Museum Association (OMA) funded by the Department of Canadian Heritage.
Speakers:
